“Office 365 will further develop the media literacy and technology skills of students. The faculty and students will be able to work online and offline with Office 365 because it provides them with the latest versions of Microsoft’s renowned productivity programs.”
– Rosemarie Perreras, Campus Network Office Head, San Beda College
For San Beda College, ICT classroom integration will play a key role in preparing students and educators for the 21st century workplace. With Office 365, the academe can satisfy the Commission for Higher Education’s (CHED) requirements for providing technology-based instruction to college students.
With the availability of online resources, lectures can be transformed into engaging discussions. For educators, OneNote will allow better-structured lesson plans, meeting notes, and to do lists. Office Mix will convert simple PowerPoint presentations into interactive online lessons through audio and video narrations, real-time digital inking, quizzes and polls, and screen recordings.
San Beda College plans to fully deploy Office 365 throughout the entire campus. For the College of Arts and Sciences, Office Tips and Tricks will be integrated on Office, Yammer, and One Note to encourage better communication and collaboration.
